Half the weight of similar styles from other brands, our Hamilton prescription sunglasses offer a classic round shape and substantial frame design that is packed with technology to make it functional and extremely lightweight for all-day comfort.
Borrowing from our award-winning performance sunglasses, the frames of the Hamilton feature ultra lightweight TR-90 nylon frames, which are lighter than acetate or polycarbonate, nearly unbreakable in daily use, and impervious to chemicals. They have integrated spring hinges, which last longer than traditional barrel hinges and flex with different head shapes. The Hamilton also features our propriety GEKO™ technology, both in the temple grips and in our patented, interchangeable nose pads. GEKO™ is a hydrophilic compound designed to get tackier when wet or sweaty, which helps our glasses stay in place when you're active – working out, hiking, bending down to pick up the groceries, or playing with your pets or kids.
At the end of the day, all of this tech is meticulously engineered to deliver the performance you'd expect from sport glasses without having to look like you are about to step onto a racquetball court.
